Entry Requirements

The tournament will be conducted using the USGA Handicap System. Players will be pre-flighted according to their lowest USGA Handicap Index between January 1 and September 1, 2010. Players electing to also participate in the Gross Division, will compete on a Scratch basis. All players will be required to submit their USGA Handicap Number for verification purposes. If requested by the Tournament Office, registered players shall submit a copy of their handicap history dating back to January 1, 2010. All players are asked to bring their current handicap card to the tournament. The card must clearly indicate an entrant's USGA Handicap Index. Participants will compete using the lowest Handicap from the current year.

For each tournament round, entrants will be issued a daily handicap adjusted to the USGA Slope Rating of their assigned course. If a player maintains more than one handicap, the lower USGA Handicap Index must be used. All participants are required to notify tournament officials prior to on-site registration if there has been a change to the handicap index they submitted. Any player who maintains a non-USGA, or similarly verifiable Handicap Index, must contact the Tournament Office for prior approval. Players should contact their local PGA Professional or visit the USGA online for assistance in establishing USGA Handicap Index.

A valid USGA handicap reflects all golf scores regardless of the course or conditions, and must be formulated according to the guidelines established by the USGA. Any unusual posting procedures, such as ceasing to post scores for a period leading up to the event, may be grounds for disqualification. Any participant found using a fraudulent handicap, or unable to provide adequate handicap history, will be expelled from the tournament and all fees will be forfeited. The tournament committee reserves the right to adjust handicaps at any time during the event.
